If you wish to use Ubuntu as dual boot, then do not install it using wubi. Install it with the help of cd and I suggest that you to follow the instructions at this link . Please make sure to select the fourth choice is "Specify partitions manually" if you are installing Ubuntu on drive 'E' or nay other drive. You need to select that particular drive and allot the disk space. You need to select 'SWAP' and provide it twice the disk space of your RAM. You can allot rest of the disk space in drive for '/'. No need to allot disk space for other options. Hope this helps!

sometimes cd is not write correctly. so try to keep burnning speed as slow as possible.
you can directly install ubuntu from its image.
extract your iso image in any drive other than E drive
