I use ubuntu 9.04 ... I want to connect INTERNET ... How can I connect the net... pls help me...

right click on the network icon on top right side of the screen.select "edit connections".choose the type of connection you want by selecting the tab. add connection by clicking add button. it is very easy.i use tata indicom's usb modem and ubuntu automatically configured it. i just had to click few buttons.

Internet Connection in Ubuntu 9.04 is very simple and straight forward compared to windows, whatever the Internet connection modes are.
