Idea to promote Ubuntu in India?

i am interested too dude.. i m from Banglore... doing my B E in comp science ... final year... i was thinking to mail to the ubuntu office to get some cd s so as to promote ubuntu... and as proof i ll blog and show pictures that i ve distributed... you tried it?

We are planing to form FOSSer Foundation which addresses the same thing that you wrote.
Actually I am also Authorised CD Distributor for Ubuntu in India. My only problem is that I need to purchase the set of CDs from Ubuntu every six months but they all go waste as very few CDs are sold. Can you help me out distribute those CDs?
Please see that since I am their merchant, I cant order Free CDs from them.
