I was hoping to find someone who knows a bit of Ubuntu and installing Ubuntu etc, to fix my mom&#39;s computer in Cochin. My moms computer runs Ubuntu 9.10 i.e. Karmic Koala. It ran fine until one day it came up with a Grub error. It will take a reinstall of Grub2 after booting up using a livecd. </p> <p>As for me, I live in San Jose, USA and won&#39;t be going home any time soon.
